SPEAKERS: Kaitlyn Kenney, President of Interact at HHHS; Meghan Townsend ,Guidance Counselor; Marcey Varano Guidance counselor and Interact Advisor.    The Interact Club at HHHS has been working with Angels in Motion, to provide Sleeping Mats and Blessing Bags for the Homeless in the Kensington Area of Philadelphia. Each mat is 3' x6' and takes about 600-700 plastic bags to complete. They have completed about 4 mats so far. Plastic bags are cut into abt 3" strips which are tied together to make a Plarn ball. Then the  Plarn is woven to make the mat. Pictured below are Meghan, Kaitlyn and Marcey with a completed mat. The second photo is the loom used to weave the  bags to make the mat. Please go to the Angels in motion website for more information on this great organization http://aimangelsinmotion.org/. Congratulations to Kaitlyn, who will be attending Liberty University, majoring in History. As she accepts her diploma from HHHS this year, she is also receiving an AA Degree in Psychology. Congratulations Kaitlyn!
