Congratulations to Yamine Azzi winner of a Rotary 4 year Academic Scholarship. Yasmine is picture with Rev Johnathan Riches, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee and her father Rachid. Yasmine plans on attending McGill University in Montreal Canada with a concentration in biochemistry. /https://www.mcgill.ca/. Yasmine's parents are originally from Algeria, she lived in Montreal before coming to the US. She is Editor in Chief of the HHHS Newspaper,a member of the band, a member of the Key Club working with the Kiwanis special Athletes Program, works with Special Olympics and the homeless. Talking to people less fortunate and those with special needs has changed her view of the world. She and her family make a yearly trip to Algeria to help the people there. Yasmine speaks English,French and Arabic. Already an accomplished individual, Yasmine has a bright future ahead of her and we wish her well in her studies.
