Welcome to Tom Abrams from St Vincent de Paul/ Catherine of Sienna. Tom shared with us some aspects of their programs
which help people needing help. They have a food pantry ( serving 40 families weekly at the pantry and 15 families get food delivered), a Christmas project which serves 100+ families, and provide financial assistance when needed. They also have a program called Road Map
which is a monthly educational program of topics of interest to their clients such as restoring credit; medication issues.

Growing our club
Rotary President Elect Ian Riseley from Sandringham Club in Victoria Australia was interviewed and was asked about what rotary does well and not so well.
In his reply, he highlighted Service as what we do well, although there is always room to improve. Membership was something we need to get better at..recruiting new and younger members, changing the demographics of our clubs, attracting more women..all things we can improve on.
